Abbey's Story...
Abbey is a happy-go-lucky girl. She is the cutest little thing! She looks like a border Collie, Corgi cross. she is house broken and crate trained and knows basic commands. Abbey is a very social, friendly girl who loves people and is good with kids. She is also very good with other dogs of all sizes, and enjoys playing with her doggie friends, and sharing the dog bed for a good cuddle. She is also a very good girl at the dog park, and comes back when she is called and follows her foster mom without venturing too far away.
She loves to be right with you and will follow you around the house and lie down anywhere near you. She is medium energy. She loves to run and play outside and go for walks, but is nice and calm in the house and likes to curl up on her dog bed and just hang out. Abbey is just a sweet little dog who is looking for her forever home. If you would like to meet Abbey, or learn more about her, you can fill out an application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abbey, a Saskatoon Border Collie/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Corgi for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Border Collie/Corgi dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Corgi breeders who help with Border Collie/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
