TAI's Info...

I am housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

TAI's Story...
[ADOPTION PENDING. NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS.] Check out this gorgeous guy! At only nine months of age Tai will fill a lap (or maybe two). He's a LOTTA dog! He's friendly. He's affectionate. He adores being hugged. And he runs like a pony. As you can see from his photos, he still has natural ears.

Tai is vaccinated, housetrained, and heartworm-negative. He'll be neutered and microchipped in a couple of days and then will be ready to go to his forever home. He has lived with toddlers and though that tail might knock them over there's not an aggressive bone in his body. He's friendly with other dogs. He's friendly with cats. In fact, he hasn't met anyone or anything he hasn't liked.

He especially likes playing with stuffies, being petted, and cuddling with his people. But he's afraid of the vacuum cleaner. (All you "casual" housekeepers take note .)

Tai came into Rescue through no fault of his own. His previous family loved him very much but housing issues made it necessary for them to rehome him, otherwise he would still be with them. They did a great job with him because Tai is a sweet, happy, mellow puppy. Like other giant-breed dogs he's very sensitive and he picks up on human emotions.

Tai would like a family who will give him lots of attention -- he ADORES romping with his humans in the fresh air.

He's a dynamite fellow but he'll be snapped up fast so don't dawdle. Great Dane or other giant-breed experience is a must. And he will absolutely need a secure fenced yard..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TAI, a Sudbury Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Sudbury, or seeking a Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Sudbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sudbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sudbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sudbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
