PeeWee's Story...
***COURTESY POSTING***
Pee Wee is striking! Such a keen and beautiful face and a personality to
match! He is between one and two years old and wandered up to the house of a
fabulous family. After many unsuccessful attempts to find his owners, his
new parents decided to find him the best home ever! He is such a jewel that
his foster parents thought they might like to keep him but with a full house
of dogs and a senior parent needing constant nursing services, they decided
that Pee Wee needed his own home where he could give and get the attention
he needs. His two new furry friends are 80 pound labs and he enjoys his
play time with them in his huge fenced back yard. He is housetrained and is
very friendly! He would make a great companion dog! If you are interested, please contact his rescue directly at storkwoods@comcast.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PeeWee, a Albany Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Albany, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
