Jay Jay's Story...
ay-Jay is a 2 ½ year old Boxer Mix with beautiful markings. He is fawn brindle and white with a blaze on his nose. He is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He also knows many basic commands like sit, stay, shake, bed, kennel, potty, breakfast, dinner, and wait. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations and vet visits. Jay-Jay loves to play with his toys and is a super great cuddler. He is currently up for adoption because his owner’s work schedule has changed and he needs more time outside of his crate. He gets along with children and cats. He is also fine with other dogs as long as they are not overly dominant. All inquiries will be forwarded to his foster for scheduling a time to visit with him. This is a courtesy posting by Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jay Jay, a Winston-Salem Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
