Bailey's Story...
Beat it down to the shelter for Bailey. He's a gentle 5 year old Puggle. Bailey was a transfer from another facility. The only thing Bailey wants out of life is to find a new loving home. He's a good boy that had a previous spinal injury. He has been vet checked and is fine but the injury does show up in the way he walks. Because of this it is recommended that families interested in Bailey should have older children. Bailey is a great pal and a wonderful companion pet

Bailey was recently adopted and returned. He loved the kids in the family but the other dog in the family and Bailey were having trouble getting along. That doesn't mean that Bailey doesn't get along with all other dogs.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Elyria Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
