Rocky's Story...
Poor Rocky was turned in at the shelter when his owners just didnt want to fool with him anymore. He is three years old and they had had him since he was just six weeks old. He lived outside his whole life and we are really hoping to find him a fine and loving home that can give him the life he deserves! He warms right up, likes to cuddle and does fine with other dogs. He pays no attention to cats. He has the prettiest dark red/brown coat you''d ever want to see. Rocky is working hard on housebreaking and is doing better at not messing in his run at the shelter. Dogs in the shelter are on borrowed time so he is being offered at a reduced fee of $300 to help rush the process to get him bailed out of there! Please hurry and apply if you'd like to see this sweet guy wagging his tail when you come home every day! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Washington Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Washington, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
