|Breed:||German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever Mix||Color:||Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - With Black||Age:||Young|
|Size:||Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)||Sex:||Female|
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Bella is an approximately 1 year old German Shepherd/Lab mix, She is the sweetest girl around! She LOVES everyone, She's even met a horse and was at first scared, but is now fine with them! Bella is doing great, she is completely crate trained, and housebroken.
Here's what Bella's foster mum has to say about her...
"Look how pretty Bella looks in her pink dress! This pretty girl is looking for her forever home. She is a little over a year old and is potty and kennel trained and also knows a few basic commands. She is wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids. She is up to date on all vetting and is available for adoption through Duke's Saving Grace. She has been living with me as my foster puppy for three months and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about her and her personality!"
Bella came to DSG completely paralyzed, and while we still don't know what caused it, she is now a perfectly normal dog! She LOVES to play and chew, so LOTS of appropriate chew toys are a must for Bella. Bella is completely UTD on ALL her shots, spayed, microchipped, current on heartworm prevention, and wears a seresto collar which gives her 8 MONTHS of Non-Toxic flea and tick control!!

Duke’s Saving Grace mission is to give those a chance when NO ONE else will. We give the dogs a chance at a life full of LOVE and GRACE, to look beyond the scars, 'disabilities', and emotional trauma, and take them for who they are, give them a chance, love them without question, and fault, and be the ONE they look to for guidance and structure. Duke's Saving Grace accepts ALL BREEDS, big or small, and our focus is helping those with disabilities, health concerns, behavioral problems, and those that are simply just left behind, or those that are looked at, and the answer is "Euthanize" We also provide Sanctuary for those who aren't going to be able to be pets. Those who no one wants, or loves, we will be the ones to love them, and want them. We will be the ones who give them love, and grace without judgment based on breed, looks, disability or behavior. We take pride in striving to provide the best possible care, love, training and compassion, both in our rescue, and medically. We focus on only feeding a holistic diet, and using as many all natural, safe products as possible in our rescue. We will do EVERYTHING possible to save a dogs life, regardless of the financial burden, and ONLY euthanize when the dog’s quality of life is compromised, or when medically necessary, under the guidance of our Veterinarian.
We will gladly allow you to come meet our pets by appointment only. Please contact us for more information, directions, and to make an appointment.
Our adoption process is as follows:
ALL dogs will be temperament tested, and evaluated prior to being put up for adoption, this will ensure we will know which dog would best fit what family type. All dogs will be fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and fecal checked (spay/neuter contract will be required for all puppies.) BEFORE being placed up for adoption.
Adoption Fee for all dogs is $125.00 regardless of age, breed, or gender. Adopters who adopt a puppy on a spay neuter contract will receive $50.00 of their adoption fee back when PROOF of spay/neuter is shown.
An adoption application is required, and all references WILL be checked.
The second step is a home check, this will also include a small informal interview, this is to ensure that we make the right match between dog and adopter.
Last is the signing of the adoption contract, both adopter AND DSG will retain a copy of this, and we want to go over this in detail with you to insure everyone understands the process, and what is stated in the contract.
**Please Note: IF at ANY time after a dog is adopted and the adopter cannot keep the dog, the dog is to be RETURNED to DSG, and NO refund will be given. **
You will from time to time, usually every 6 months receive a call from DSG check on the dog, and to make sure everyone is still happy and getting along well.
Any questions regarding the adoption policy will be gladly discussed, and clarified.
