My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Johnny is an absolute sweetheart and has a gentle gaze that matches his personality. He is young and energetic and loves playing with his buddies and chasing lizards at the rescue ranch. He also loves to snuggle up with his people pals and will flop over for belly rubs whenever he thinks he has half a chance at one. He's been using this trick at obedience class, which gets him lots of attention from the rest of the class!

Johnny weighs about 60 lbs and is about 18 mos. - 2 yrs old. He was brought into a local shelter after being picked up as a stray. He was a favorite at the shelter but it was too stressful for him and he started to lose weight so we brought him to the ranch. He has been much happier here and would be happier still if he could have his very own family so that he could get more attention.

Johnny is eager to please and is very quickly learning all kinds of new polite behaviors. He is great on leash and is easy going and loving, very friendly and loves people, wanting to be with them all the time, preferaly touching them. He is happiest when being petted and will lean against you to keep the loves coming. He loves going on walks and is doing great with his leash manners.

Johnny is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, tested heartworm negative, and microchipped.

PLEASE CONTACT s_smith_polo@yahoo.com to learn more and to request an application for adoption. It is our goal to make a great match between your family and one of our wonderful dogs.

Adoption fees range from $200-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
