Maddie's Story...
Maddie was turned in at a kill shelter VERY pregnant and ready to give birth. She was rescued by a great foster family, had her babies and now they're all ready for new homes so Maddie would like a home of her own too! Maddie loves to play, loves to carry her rawhide bones around and is great with pets and people. She is only about 20 lbs and wont get any larger. The vet thinks she is young, maybe about a year or so old. Maddie will be ready for her new home on May 3rd weekend when her spay is complete! Please apply if you'd like a happy, comical and loving little pooch.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Windham Feist/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Windham, or seeking a Feist/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Feist/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
