My name is Howie!

Chihuahua Dog for adoption in Painesville, Ohio - Howie

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Howie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Howie's Story...
Howie is a sweet little guy that was surrendered by his owner with Rolo (11 pound chi). Although these two lived together, they don't seem to care what the other is doing and can go to seperate homes.

Howie is about 3 years old and could have possibly been used as a stud. But those days are over!!!

FOSTER UPDATE: Howie just loves to be cuddled! He sticks close while doing yard work...maybe he knows that being 5 pounds...a hawk could just swoop him up!!! He just wants a home where he can be loved. He gets along with all sized dogs, cats and people!

Adoption comes with a FREE private training session at the High Drive Pups training facility (West Side of Cleveland, http://highdrivepups.com), and, if the new family is interested in advancing her obedience skills, affordable follow-up lesson plans.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howie, a Painesville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Painesville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Painesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Painesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Painesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Painesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
