Blossom's Story...
Blossom was found with her brother and sister in a sceptic field in Manitoba, they were very weak and very skinny. A good smaritan found the 3 and took them in. They are now sleeping with full bellies and are doing well.. these pups are playful and very sweet. We guestimate them to be about 9-12 weeks old. SAFE AT LAST DOG RESCUE SOCIETY is bringing these sweeties to BC in the next couple of weeks, as soon as their quarentine is over..for more information, please contact this rescue @ safe_at_last_dog_rescue@hotmail.com..UPDATE, BLOSSOM IS GETTING HER VACCINATIONS TODAY AND IS READY TO MEET HER NEW FAMILY..IS THAT YOU?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blossom, a Chilliwack Husky/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chilliwack, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chilliwack.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chilliwack already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chilliwack breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chilliwack paves the way for another one to be saved.
