Billy's Story...
Meet Billy!

Billy is a 10-month-old 70-pound Pit Bull with lots of life and love.

Billy came to LEASH as an owner-surrender. He is a loving boy who is still young and full of energy. He needs a confident owner that can teach him the rights and wrongs of being a dog, while also being patient with him.

He's a smart boy who is eager to learn! He knows some basics and will work for food. Billy is 90% house-trained and just needs some reinforcement and routine to allow him to fully get the hang of it.

This boy enjoys snuggles with his favorite human and loves kids. He was originally in a home with children and was great with them. Billy should go to a home with children: He trusts kids more than anyone else and finds comfort in them. Hopefully, children can find the same thing in Billy.

He should be OK with other dogs after a proper introduction, and he also does very well with cats.

If you think your the family to give this big beautiful boy his new LEASH-on-life, Please Connect With Us: Billy can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Billy, a Pitt Meadows Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Pitt Meadows, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Pitt Meadows.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pitt Meadows already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pitt Meadows breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pitt Meadows paves the way for another one to be saved.
