I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Meet Duke, named after General John Marmaduke of Civil War fame, after Duke was found as a stray near a civil war battlefield. Duke is about 7-8 years old, in A+ health and has a stocky brittany build with longer, curly fur. He has a deep, rich orange / white coloring. He is a happy, energetic boy who wants to please his family. He enjoys being around people the most, always hanging nearby, wanting pets and affection. He likes chewing on bones and will chase a ball (but makes you bring it back for him). Duke plays with the other dogs in his foster home. He will go outside to “patrol” the yard for squirrels, birds and bunnies. The good news is that Duke is fine with cats. He is crate trained, and can be left in a crate during the work day for several hours. He is housebroken and knows sit. And of course, he loves mealtimes and treats.
Duke has been neutered, is up to date with his vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on prevention and is microchipped tool
So, if you're looking for a best buddy to enjoy life with, Duke could just be your boy. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application at the New England Brittany Rescue website, www.nebrittanyrescue.org. We look forward to hearing from you.
