Anastasia's Story...
Anastasia- Basset Griffon Vendeen?/Corgi 1 yr. old (April 2013)

Anastasia and her sister were left in a high kill rural shelter. The story goes that they
came from a puppy mill and 'were not part of the breeding operation' so thrown away.
These lovely sisters are sweet and friendly. Anastasia was giving kisses to the Rescue
Volunteer as they left the Shelter, heading to a foster home. She's crate trained and
good with other dogs. They said was used to children, too. Her adoption fee is $250 to
help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anastasia, a Germantown Basset Griffon Vendeen/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Griffon Vendeen/Corgi for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Basset Griffon Vendeen/Corgi dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Griffon Vendeen/Corgi breeders who help with Basset Griffon Vendeen/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
