Oreo's Story...
Oreo is a very sweet 1 year old Lab/Boxer mix. He was rescued from an over crowded shelter where he was placed on the euthanasia list and rescued just in time.

He gets along great with other dogs and cats.

He loves to play ball, and be around people, he would make a great addition to an active family. He likes to jump up and can use some training in manners.

You can meet him at the Natomas Marketplace Petsmart on the weekends from Noon - 3pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Sacramento Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
