Rusty ~ Adoption Pending's Story...
This is Rusty! Who we believe was dumped by his previous owners! L Why, we don’t know – he is a great dog! Approx 1.5 yrs old and good with people, dogs and cats. He is also a very quick learner – learning sit, stay, touch and drop it! He does a little concern over being left, and who could blame him? We are working on teaching him that it’s ok, we’ll be back! If you would like to meet this awesome boy, contact Legacy_Jenn@aol.com and we’ll make it happen!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty ~ Adoption Pending, a Youngstown Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Youngstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Youngstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
