Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sable is a 14 month old girl whose owner didn't have time for her. She is very playful and approaches all dogs to play with her. She fetches and carries her toys with her. She can be a bit dominant, though, and has to be reminded not to intimidate other dogs. She loves to play with toys and fetch. Sable focuses on her human, making learning quicker. She may react to sudden movements towards her face wt a nip or growl, and so is not suited for a family with young children. It takes her time to get used to new people. True to the Cocker personality, she doesn't take to everyone. She barks at strangers. She has alot of personality and is a happy girl. Her coat is a beautiful light and medium color sable, but requires weekly brushing and intermittent professional grooming. She weighs 20#. She is crate/leash and house trained.
Although Sable is currently in Amite, Louisiana, transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front.
