My name is Rascal!

Domestic Shorthair Cat for adoption in Lighthouse Point, Florida - Rascal

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rascal's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rascal's Story...
I, along with my siblings, Alexis, Alexander and Venus were all rescued from a busy parking lot. We were found running around the parking lot looking for food. When one of our volunteers saw the kittens, her first reaction was to come to their aid and save them from either starvation or being run over.

My name is Rascal and I am a handsome tabby boy. I am so photogenic, I can't take a bad picture! I have really cool stripes in my fur.

I have had my distemper and rabies shots and I have been fixed. Boy, that was fun!

I am friendly and very sweet. I love to play and eat and eat and eat and play and eat.

I am looking for my forever home. If interested, please call Janet at 561-212-5092.

I will be sitting by the phone waiting for your call. Actually, I will be hanging out with my buddy Magic at the new Petco in Lighthouse Point, 3774 N. Federal Hwy, at the NE corner of Sample Rd. and Federal Hwy. Please stop by and see me. Looking forward to meeting you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal, a Lighthouse Point Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lighthouse Point, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lighthouse Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lighthouse Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lighthouse Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lighthouse Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
