Jax's Story...
This beautiful boy is Jax, AKA Bono. He spent most of his life at a shelter and is eagerly learning how to be a companion. At first, he wouldn't play, but he is finding out that he just might enjoy having some fun. His favorite pastime is swimming. After all, what else would he use those webbed feet for? He can entertain himself for hours with a bone or ball and he is very good with other dogs. He accompanied one of his handlers to class and stayed by her side quietly for the better part of four hours. How's that for an all-around good fellow?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jax, a Princeton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Princeton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Princeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Princeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Princeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Princeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
