Irene's Story...
This is a great breed mix for smarts and for faithfulness. and what a cutie. Irene is just a year old so old enough not to be a little puppy but young enough to train and make your own special girl. These gentle tempered dogs make great family pet and a good breed mix can't be beat for health long term with no issues that come with full bred dogs. . The shelter address: 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Linconton. 704 736 4125, Open 6 days a week; M-Sat 11 to 4 ;30and Thursday open until 5:30 pm. Closed Sunday. Adoption fee of 85.00 includes the spay or neuter , another disease preventative vaccine and a rabies vaccine, a microchip, as well as worming and a new bonus, 30 days of free insurance..Incredible. There is a family friendly adoption room and a back area to take the dog out for walk. the dogs do bark up a storm when anyone comes, so please keep that in mind and take her out to really see what she will be like into a quiter outside area. Also keep in mind these dogs do not get walked; they stay in their small runs most all the time so they are very happy to stretch their legs. The shelter does do same day adoptions but they do not take credit cards. The dog will be spayed or neutered once the adoption fee is paid and you will pick it up at the vets. . these dogs dont' have forever, so please, don't delay they are depending on you for their lives.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Irene, a Lincolnton Black and Tan Coonhound/Australian Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Australian Terrier for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Australian Terrier dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound/Australian Terrier breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound/Australian Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
