Smokey is listed as a chow chow mix but he has a lot of Pom in him. He's 3 years old. This dog is ready to listen to whatever you are saying, see how attentive he is? He like many others that come into the shelter have owners that fall on hard times...and a trained, great, often housebroken dog finds himself in animal control and a possible death sentence, through no fault of his won. but that doesn't mean they dont' deserve a chance to show you how good they can be...often they prove to be the best pets ever. The shelter address: 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Linconton. 704 736 -4215 , Open 6 days a week; M-Sat 11 to 4:30 and Thursday open until 5:30 pm. Closed Sunday. Adoption fee of 85.00 includes the spay or neuter , another disease preventative vaccine and a rabies vaccine, a microchip, as well as worming and a new bonus, 30 days of free insurance..Incredible. There is a family friendly adoption room too.. The shelter does do same day adoptions these dogs dont' have forever, so please, don't delay! thanks for considering a homeless shelter pet
