Primrose's Story...
Primrose was rescued from Granville County Animal Shelter on April 3rd. She is the best girl, and what a cuddle bug!!! Primrose is calm, quiet, but is perfectly willing to play and gets excited when her human friends want to play. She is literally, the perfect dog!! :) Prim walks well on a leash, is comfortable around people, dogs, cats, you name it.

Primrose's adoption fee is $200, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccines. All monies go toward rescuing more animals from high-kill shelters. If you would like to meet Primrose, please fill out an adoption application at: http://tripetsalive.pandaform.com/pub/l3pchf/new

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Primrose, a Raleigh Beagle/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Basset Hound for sale in Raleigh, or seeking a Beagle/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Raleigh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Raleigh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Raleigh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Basset Hound breeders who help with Beagle/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Raleigh paves the way for another one to be saved.
