Bruno (Courtesy list)'s Story...
Bruno is in CT, but is available for adoption on the East Coast. Bruno is a 2 year old Chocolate Lab rescue pup that now finds himself alone again. His owner is moving and can't take him. Bruno's family says," He is beautiful smart and a bit crazy. He is always ready to play, run, fetch, until he wants to just lay on the couch with you. There isn't a tennis ball, frisbee or softball that is safe when he wants to play. He looks and sounds more like a horse than a dog when he runs. My kids adore him, and he wears them out!"Please email us at bonniebluerescue@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting Bruno! Our adoption fee is $300. $75 of the adoption fee is refundable if proof of obedience class is demonstrated within 3 months of adoption. Each of our pups goes to their forever family up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered & microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruno (Courtesy list), a Richmond Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
