Pistachio's Story...
Pistachio-Beagle/JRT female puppy (April 2013)

Pistachio and her siblings were tiny babies when the owner of their mother took them away
from her and dropped them in a high kill rural Shelter. A Rescue Volunteer who is also a Vet Tech
saw the little family of 4 and said she would take them home and make sure they stayed healthy
until big enough to be adopted by loving people. The time is now, at about 12 weeks (April 2013)
they are just waiting for your inquiry. The adoption fee is $275 to help cover the medical expenses
of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pistachio, a Germantown Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
