Tequila's Story...
Tequila-Black Lab mix female 10-12 weeks (April 2013)

Tequila and her sister, Scotch, were found in a high kill rural shelter as 10-12 week old puppies in
early April. They have been staying in a foster home, while getting ready for their new family.
Sweet little puppies, Tequila loves belly rubs and playing. She will grow up to be a big dog
so her new family should consider that, when applying to adopt. Her adoption fee is $275 to
help cover the medical expenses of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tequila, a Germantown Boston Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
