Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you want a dog that has moved past the puppy stage, you want know how big he is going to grow, and you want to know how loving and adorable he will be as an adult, then you have found our handsome guy, Buddy Boy. Buddy Boy is a male Boxer/Lab mix and is approx 12 - 15 months old. He has a short, golden colored coat and weighs approx 50 lbs. He arrived at our rescue already neutered and is testing heart worm negative. We have him on all his monthly preventatives and he will complete vaccines very soon and be ready to travel by May 9.
Buddy Boy is a surrendered dog. The people---I won't even call them a family---who owned him were moving out of town and just left him behind with a neighbor telling the neighbor to "find him a good home". How do you do that?? Buddy Boy is the sweetest, gentlest dog. He had been a family dog and the neighbor said that he was a great dog, good with the children in the family, and always very friendly with kisses and licks to the hand for her. He seems very dog friendly and cat friendly and just seems to be no trouble at all. I will never understand how someone can walk away from their family pet, and Buddy Boy deserves better than that. Won't you open your heart and your home to this very deserving guy? Thank for looking!
