NUTMEG's Story...
NUTMEG is one of five puppies that were brought to our rescue along with their mom. Mom is a Lab/Kelpie shepherd mix and is a beautiful and very sweet dog. The puppies, which included 4 females and a male, all resemble mom. Nutmeg is one of the girls. She is approx 12 - 16 weeks old, has been started on her vaccines and her monthly preventatives, and she was just recently spayed. Currently, Nutmeg is weighing approx 15 - 20 lbs. Once the puppies complete all their vaccines they will be ready for transport on May 23. The mom and puppies are currently in foster care with our rescue.

Nutmeg is just a very happy and healthy puppy who spends her day eating, sleeping, and playing with her siblings. The girls are all so identical, but we keep them straight with the touches of white that they have on them. Nutmeg has white toes on all feet. Hopefully they will all grow up to be as pretty as their mom---and as loving and gentle as she is too. Thanks for looking at this gorgeous puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NUTMEG, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
