SMOKE's Story...
Have you ever been the only boy in a house full of sisters? Well welcome to the world of SMOKE. SMOKE, his four sisters and their mom arrived at our rescue about a week ago. The story was that they were "strays" but we have since learned that they were actually owned by the man who called us and he surrendered them. The mom had several more puppies in the litter, but they were given away. These were the dogs that were left, but we feel like we got the "pick of the litter". Smoke is the only male, but he is as cute and adorable as the sisters. They are all nearly identical except for touches of white that each puppy has.

Smoke is already neutered, male, Lab/shepherd mix. He is approx 12 - 14 weeks old and weighs 20 - 24 lbs at this point. He will receive 3 sets of vaccines and is on all monthly preventatives. He will be available for transport on May 23. Smoke spends his days playing, eating and sleeping, and keeping his sisters in line. They are all so very funny and playful together. Thanks for looking at this adorable pup.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SMOKE, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
