Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A chihuahua, dachshund, Jack Russell terrier mix- pint sized Petey is 6 months old and tips the scales at 7 pounds. He is neutered and heart worm negative.
Petey is in a foster home with two big dogs, his new best friends forever. He thrills in romping and running with them, but despite Herculean effort, wee Petey always loses the games of tug of war. A submissive little guy, he is happy in the company of other dogs as it gives him a sense of structure and security. Like many small dogs, Petey is shy, but never assertive, around men and young children, and he is hesitant with cats. Petey never 'marks his territory', is mostly house trained (only the occasional accident), and not at all destructive- only chewing on the designated dog toys.
A completely happy little extrovert, Petey dances and skips on the heels of his foster mom both inside and outside of the home. He so delights in her company, and her in his, that he kennels in her bedroom overnight so that he can continue to watch over her and be her loyal companion.
Since little Petey is still young and so very gregarious, he is not well suited for a home where he would be left totally alone for long periods.
If you would like to know more about Petey, contact his foster mom Kate at kfharbour@gmail.com
