My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is LeeLoo. I am a chihuahua / miniature pinscher mix - at least that's what my foster mom thinks. I have a beautiful glossy black coat, pretty chocolate colored eyes, with Oreo cookie blast colored toes. The vet estimated me to be about 6 years old approximately.

I was found badly injured by a good Samaritan on the side of the road. She was nice enough to find me some help and saved my life. I was very badly injured with a huge laceration on my back leg. One of the veterinary doctors took a special liking to me and nursed me back to health. She said that I was very lucky & had been attacked by something much larger than me, but that was all that she could tell. In spite of all that, I am as sweet as pie and don't act all timid and scared as one would think after such a scary experience. All I have to show for this scary event in my life is a scar on my back leg, which is all healed up. In fact, that is sort if how I got my name. After Lelo & Stitch, the cartoon characters. My foster mom thought LeeLoo from the movie, The Fifth Element, sounded much more feminine & much cooler though! So my new name was born.

I love to be with "my person". I follow my foster mom from room to room & am in her lap as soon as soon as she sits down. I snuggle under the covers in the bed to sleep at night with my foster brother & sister chihuahuas & we all get along just fine. Cats I'm not so sure about.

I am scared of little kids, so a house without young children is a must as I can be nippy with children only. I do cry a little when my foster mom leaves for work, so someone who is retired or already has another dog to be my new sister or brother would probably be best for me. If you are looking for an inside dog to spoil rotten, well that's me! I just want to snuggle all day & I would be happy forever just doing that!

I am potty trained (yes. . . Potty trained! :), heartworm negative, spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, and microchipped! In other words: Perfect!

If you are looking for a snuggle bunny & the most dedicated best friend that you have ever had, I think you might have found your match with me! You can contact my foster mom at duhbirdz@gmail.com.
- Sincerely, LeeLoo :)
