Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A month ago this sweet boy was found nearly dead on the side of the road in Rome, Ga. Someone had shot him in the face with a .22 and left him for dead. A good Samaritan stopped and picked him up and got him to a vet in Heflin, Al. His jaw was shattered in twenty + pieces and he was covered in sarcoptic mange. Through a serious of amazing volunteers, this little boy finally made it to Huntsville, Al. where we named him Benito, our “little blessing”. Benito is fully recovered (ah, youth!) and is ready for his FORever home. Around 3 months old, Benito is neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, on Trifexis for flea and heartworm prevention. The vet thinks he is a lab mix. He is all puppy and loves to play and tussle with his foster family. Benito will do best in a home with other dogs, as he still isn’t 100% certain that people are good, but he does bond quickly and LOVES his foster people. To adopt Benito, please contact info@forrescue.net and ask for an application. Benito is fostered in Huntsville, AL.
