BOGART

Bogart is a gorgeous Flat Coated retriever/Golden Retriever mix who came to the shelter with his sister, Bacall.

Bogart is estimated to be 1-2 years old and is an absolute doll. He is shy at first meeting, but warms up when he knows he has met a friend. Bogart was scared when arrived at the shelter - but perked right up when he saw that his sister was there as well. Obviously these two are bonded sibbling.

Bogart does have some black on his tongue - but that is common in Retrievers - Please read: The Truth Abouth Those Black Tongues for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogart - URGENT, a Marion Golden Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Marion, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
