Kallie's Story...
Ruff! My name is Kallie! I am an 8 year old Schipperke mix. I came to rescue when my mom fell on hard times and had to go live in a homeless shelter. She loved me very much and hated letting me go! I am having fun in my foster home, I have a foster brother to play with all the time. My foster home takes me on daily walks, and I LOVE this! Don't let me 8 years fool you, I love to be on the go! I am spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and full of good times! My adoption fee is $150. Please visit www.softplacetoland.org for an application if you would like to meet me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kallie, a Ft. Collins Schipperke dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schipperke for sale in Ft. Collins, or seeking a Schipperke dog from a breeder in Ft. Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schipperke breeders who help with Schipperke rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
