Bubba's Story...
Bubba is a charming guy who is about 2 years old. He came to us from another local shelter that wanted to give him new exposure. Bubba loves to play and is a very inquisitive kitty. He is available for adoption now, please visit him in our free roaming cattery- Bubba loves other cats!

You love animals, but can’t adopt? Come on down to the shelter and choose the cat or dog that you would like to sponsor. For as little as $20 per month, you can sponsor a pet and help pay for the cost of their care while they stay at the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a East Hanover Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in East Hanover, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in East Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
