Aspen's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Aspen's Story...
Aspen is a 5 month old Husky/malamute mix who LOVES to have fun! She is a very active girl who will need a family that can keep up with her. She'll be a big girl when full grown, so she will need lots of space to run her puppy energy off. Her tail is always wagging and she is very smart. Her favorite thing to do is wrestle with her foster siblings and play with toys.

Aspen almost has house training down, only having an occasional accident. Once she has a routine and has someone to work with her she will have it down in no time.
She loves to snuggle in bed and on the couch and enjoy a good nap as well. She does well with the other dogs in her foster home, as well as the cats (only chasing them once in awhile). With one blue eye and one brown, who couldn't fall in love with this girl?
Aspen is microchipped, spayed and up to date on her shots and vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueAhart.org if you'd like to meet her. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aspen, a Cincinnati Husky/Alaskan Malamute puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Alaskan Malamute for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Husky/Alaskan Malamute puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Husky/Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
