Penny's Story...
I'm Penny, an adorable mix breed pup (less than a year old they think). I came in with Wallace, but they aren't sure if we are litter mates or not. I am a sweet-natured young girl who deserves much more than what I have right now. Don't get me wrong- I am so grateful that I have a chance here, but I just want to live with people who will love me forever! You need to come by and love on me- I give lots and lots of wags and kisses! Don't you think my ears are so cute when they're perked up! Oh and my tail is docked, so obviously someone owned me before now. Call Joan at 870-739-1145 to make an appointment to come see me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Marion Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Marion, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
