Roy's Story...
Roy was found as a stray in KY and is now enjoying his time here in his foster home in NJ while waiting for his perfect forever home ~ He is about 17 weeks old ~ up to date with vaccinations ~ and already microchipped ~~ He is very social with a great personality but due to his size will not be placed in a home with larger dogs and young children ~ *Roy weighs 6lbs*

~~~ If you would like to submit an application for possible approval for adoption please email rescue-me@earthlink.net so an application can emailed to you ~~~
Puppies require a lot of time for housebreaking, training, and proper socialization ~ It is in the puppies best interest that they be adopted to families where someone will be home most of the day ~ Thank you for your understanding!!
Why Adoption is a Great Option
Roy, a Milford Chihuahua/Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Milford, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Milford.
  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
