Pugsley & Babs, Two Happy Pugs!
Pugsley and Babs are 11.5 yr. old brother and sister duo. These two are totally adorable and so full of character! Pugsley is a more quiet, laid back kind of fella (unless he is separated from Babs for too long, then he squeals like a pig. It’s hilarious!). He has suffered from dry eye before coming into the rescue and now has limited vision due to being left untreated for so long. He can only see about 3 – 4 feet in front of him, but not to worry, this does not stop him; he loves to go on walks and can still find food no matter where he is! He gets drops in his eyes twice daily and will need this indefinitely.
Babs is a little more outgoing than Pugsley and frequently acts as Pugsley’s “seeing eye dog”. He relies on her and she knows it. She is the alpha of the two and will defend Pugsley, but also put him in his place when needed. He loves her so much and she loves him as well, but also gets really attached to her human. Regardless of who loves each other more in this relationship, neither could live without the other. They are a hoot to live with!
Both of them will love, love, love to give kisses and will shower you with Pug love. They will lie at your feet wherever you happen to be and will follow you all over the house just to make sure they aren’t missing anything important! They also like sun bathing on the deck at their foster mom’s house, where they can go in and out of the house as they please because of a doggie door. They both have proper bathroom etiquette and always go out to do their business. At 12 years, they are healthy and very happy Pugs and anyone who ends up adopting these two are going to be very lucky and loved!
Pugsley and Babs are being fostered in Hampton, VA and the asking adoption fee for the pair is $200.
