My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pete, or Petie as we call him, is a special boy. He is loving and cuddly. He first came to us when he was when he was about 1 1/2 years old. His owner was deploying to Iraq. He gave the dog to a young girl. But her parents would not let her keep him. So they called us.

We adopted him to a nice family, but it turned out not to be a forever home, and he was returned after a year or so, because he was aggressive to the many kids who came to their home to visit. He was not like that at first, so it made me think he was teased, since this was "learned behavior". Then he was adopted by another family, and after a couple of years, was returned again. This time they reported he did not get along with the smaller dogs they had adopted. So I guess he needs and WANTS TO BE an only dog. Petie he likes lots of attention, likes sleeping with his human, and likes to be held and petted too!

He is now living in a foster home with a mom and son, and getting along just fine.

He is fully vetted and looking for LOVE! and a "FOREVER HOME" where he will be a family member and they will be dedicated to him...........

His adoption fee is $100.00 and please note, we are looking for a only dog home. and NO kids in the home so he will be at his happiest........
