Hettie $200's Story...
Hettie is a beautiful Coonhound/Pointer Mix, she is 4-5 months old, just getting her adult teeth. Hettie spent the first few months of her life in a shelter with her three siblings so they were very skinny and scared when they came to us, hard to believe just a few short weeks later. Now they have gained weight and are happy, playful and friendly just as puppies should be. Hettie is doing really well, she is almost house trained, she loves her crate and is working on leash training. She is getting used to going in the car. She loves other dogs & cats and especially children, she is fostered with all three. Hettie is around 20lbs so we think around 40-45lbs fully grown. She has the prettiest markings and the softest fur, she is always delighted to see you. Hettie is spayed, had all her shots and ready for adoption, her adoption fee is $200. Please contact us for an application form if you would like to meet Hettie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hettie $200, a Largo Coonhound/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound/Pointer for sale in Largo, or seeking a Coonhound/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound/Pointer breeders who help with Coonhound/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
