Chester's Story...
Dear sweet Chester lost his home when his owner had to suddenly move to a place where dogs are not allowed. Chester is about 8 years of age and it is obvious he was well loved. He is in a foster home with another dog and gets along very well with him. Chester is a happy, easygoing, low maintenance kind of guy who would do best in a quieter adult household. If you have been looking for an awesome companion to keep you company, Chester would be a great choice.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a Rigaud Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
