Marley's Story...
Marley is a beautiful two year old terrier mix, female, with big brown eyes and a lovable personality. Shis is spayed, UTD on all her shots, and ready to find her forever home. When the Humane Society found her, she was cautious, confused and scared, but today she is very playful energetic and affectionate. She loves attention and does well around both children and other animals. However, she has a fear of cats and will avoid them at all costs. Marley is a very active dog who loves to run around outside and play. She likes to stand up on her hind legs and dance around (especially when there's music playing!), and when she's petted, she'll wrap her paws around your arm and give you a big hug, followed by lots of kisses! Marley is available for adoption through Twin Co. Humane Society. For more information, email or call 276-728-4038. Adoption fee and application required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Hillsville Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Hillsville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Hillsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
