Matilda's Story...
Matilda's story is enough to break any heart :( Matilda was found abandoned in a box outside the hospital when she was only 5 days old. One of our wonderful fosters bottle fed and nurtured Matilda and this little miracle not only survived but thrived! Now, Matilda is ready for her furever home :) Matilda loves to play with her dog brother and her foster cat brothers and sisters. She is a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she is VERY affectionate<3 Matilda has the purrfect toritude (it is said that Torties have their own unique personality...love to talk and play) To make Matilda's story complete, she needs a loving home and a family to call her own...maybe that is with you? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Matilda, a Plainfield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
