Mindy's Story...
Mindy is an 8 year old, declawed cat with a very quiet and loving temperament. She is pleasant, and peaceful. Mindy is happy snuggled in her cat bed for hours and watching the birds outside. She is indoor only cat, and would be fine in a home with other cats. She would prefer a home with adults, as she really prefers a quieter atmosphere. Mindy loves her head scratched and will make someone a wonderful companion. She is undemanding and just really appreciative of getting a second chance. Mindy is spayed, vaccinated and micro chipped. Her adoption fee is $40. Please email rescuinganimals@gmail.com for an application. Mindy is in foster care in Kent, WA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mindy, a Federal Way Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Federal Way, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Federal Way.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Federal Way already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Federal Way breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Federal Way paves the way for another one to be saved.
