Rosco's Story...
Rosco was very loved before he came to us. That's why this story is so sad. His dad, an army reservist, got called to go to Afghanistan for a tour. He couldn't find anyone to take his puppy, and had to relinquish this little guy to us at the last minute. Rosco is 4 mths old, and is a calm puppy. He is very playful, and is starting to fetch the ball and bring it back to you - the trick is to get him to let go of it! His potty training is going well, he's been using potty pads, and has been going outside on his walks. He is learning his basic obedience and will need his pet parents to continue with that. He's a happy, joyful little guy, and is just too cute for words.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosco, a Gilbert Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
