Tazzie Tuxedo's Story...
Disposition: Cuddly, playful

Tazzie Tuxedo is a kitten who nuzzles. She loves to make biscuits, purr away, and suck on blankets. Yep. She's one of those kittens who were separated from mommy too soon. So if you find cuddling, nuzzly kittens annoying, Tazzie is not for you. She is a charmer, though, and enjoys the company of her human companions. She also loves being around other cats.

Tazzie and her brother were found abandoned so we brought them into our care.

This little girl would make a wonderful companion for a family that would let her love everyone in the best way she knows how...even if it's sometimes annoying. She just loves to love. Nuzzling is how she does it.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tazzie Tuxedo, a The Colony Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in The Colony, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in The Colony.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in The Colony already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a The Colony breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in The Colony paves the way for another one to be saved.
