My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ella is a purebred standard poodle. She's sweet and smart and loves her doing her canine freestyle to the tune of "Diamonds are a girl's best friend". She's also good at agility. Her mom passed away recently so she's looking for a home that can give her the care and full life that she's used to. She came into our rescue just before her 6th birthday. She's a healthy happy girl who loves playing with other dogs. She needs a home with a fenced yard.
(A $400 adoption donation is required.) If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out the CHEW Adoption Application you can find on our website: chewdogrescue.org/Forms.html If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! We are always looking for good foster homes. Our rescue is foster based and we can always save more dogs if we have foster homes for them to go into. It is not a long term commitment. We have been able to find good forever homes in a short time. We also welcome volunteers who can help transport dogs and help with our outreach and fund raising efforts. Please contact us if you can help.
