Simba's Story...

Simba is a male 10 month old Shepherd Mix. Although still a puppy, he is incredibly gentle and sweet. He would be the perfect family dog because of his gentle personality.

Simba would also be a great agility dog- he's an amazing jumper and very athletic. Although he loves to run and play in his foster's backyard, he is also a couch potato and loves nothing more than cuddling up on the couch.

Simba is crate and potty trained. He is great with other dogs his size and smaller dogs, too. He's been around children as young as three, and does great. He is very food-motivated, which will make training much easier and enjoyable. A general obedience class would be great for this guy.

If you are interested in meeting Simba, fill out an application at www.jasmineshouse.org.
Simba, Shepherd Mix has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Clarksburg Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Clarksburg, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Clarksburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
