Bender-w/video!'s Story...
Bender is as good as they get! Bender is a 2 year old Great Pyrenees looking for his forever home. He is not as big as a typical Great Pyr. This boy weighs in at 74 pounds. Bender is a super calm, gentle giant. He is a quiet, sweetheart of a boy! Bender would make a loving family companion as he is so good with young children! He is very well behaved and docile. Bender has great leash manners and enjoys going for walks. He is wonderful in the car and loves going for walks. He is already crate trained and housetrained too! We suspect that Bender was hit by a car. He has an old injury on his back left leg. Bender walks without strain or apparent pain. Bender does not require any additional medical care and our veterinarians do not recommend surgery. Bender is a happy-go-lucky boy and he deserves to enjoy the comforts of home and the love of a family! He is healthy, current on all vaccinations and has been neutered. He also has a microchip. He is currently in Louisiana but transport is available to the northeast at no additional charge. Please contact April at apr0227@msn.com if you would like to adopt this sweet boy! Thank you for saving a life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bender-w/video!, a Portsmouth Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Portsmouth, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Portsmouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portsmouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portsmouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portsmouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
