Mabel - LOVABLE GIRL's Story...
Meet Mabel! Mabel is a 3-year-oild female, about 40 lbs, and sweet as can be. We're not sure of her breed, maybe Lab and Pit, maybe Beagle and Bulldog...She has had a rough time. She was rescued from a kill shelter in California, miscarried 5 puppies, and was treated for an ear infection. Now she is 100% healthy and spayed, and is loving life with her foster brothers.

Mabel is great with men, women, and children. She is affectionate and friendly, well-behaved indoors, housebroken, quiet, and crate trained. She is fine upon meeting some dogs and some dogs she needs to get used to. She happily shares her water bowl and goes off-leash comfortably with my own large dogs. So, no dog parks for Mabel but she might like to have dog friends at home or on visits. Mabel pretty much just ignores her foster's indoor cats.

Mabel likes chewy bones and to go for walks. She has decent energy outdoors but likes to wind down and cuddle indoors. We are working with her on her basic obedience and she is doing well: she walks well on the leash and sits nicely while waiting for her food. Mabel's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, up-to-date basic shots & rabies shot, heartworm tested negative, and microchip. Please email gaelicsolus@hotmail.com for an application. Mabel is being fostered in Seattle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mabel - LOVABLE GIRL, a Seattle Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
